Answer: For the third year running Tuggeranong won the local rainfall challenge with a total of 520.6mm. Monash was second with 517.0mm, Canberra AP followed on 437.6mm and Gungahlin came last with just 390.2mm. So 64.3% of voters got it right! Well done! |

Answer: It snowed twice in Gungahlin during winter 2008. Gungahlin residents awoke on Sunday, August 10 to a very light dusting of snow. A heavier, but brief fall hit many suburbs of Canberra (including Gungahlin) around 1.30pm on the same date. Gungahlin's temperature range on 10 August was -0.4°C to 4.8°C. |
