Trouble sleeping last night? Well, with warm temperatures and high
humidity levels settling over Gungahlin, you probably weren't alone.
Following a week of hot, sticky conditions and rain, humidity levels across the
suburbs were almost unbearable overnight. In fact, the outside humidity
didn't fall below 95% from 6pm yesterday afternoon until 7am this morning.
Another hot, humid day is forecast today, with a top of 33°C. More
afternoon storms are likely and winds will become fresh to strong during the
afternoon. Tonight will remain warm and humid (although slightly less so
than last night) with a low near 20°C.
There is some good news on the horizon, with a cooler change expected early
Sunday, dropping both temperatures and humidity levels. Sunday's max
should be a more comfortable 24°C.
