The fine print:

Each day, the forecast temperature range for Gungahlin is posted on the home page of the Gungahlin Weather Centre. If the actual recorded minimum and maximum temperatures (when combined) differs from the forecast by more than 5.0°C we will award the monthly prize to a member of the Gungahlin Weather Guarantee Club. For example, if we forecast a temperature range of 5.0°C to 15.0°C and the official temperatures recorded at the Gungahlin Weather Centre that day were 8.2°C to 18.8°C (a combined difference of 7.0°C) the guarantee would have been broken, and the monthly prize would be won!
The winner will be chosen at random from the list of registered Gungahlin Weather Guarantee members. This draw will take place at the Gungahlin Weather Centre.
Only one prize will be awarded each calendar month. It will be awarded on the first occurrence of the Weather Guarantee being broken in the month.
To be eligible for the monthly prize you must be a registered Weather Guarantee Member. Registration is free.
The Weather Guarantee competition is open to everyone, but if you win a monthly prize (and don't live in Gungahlin) you will be responsible for arranging delivery/receipt of the monthly prize.
The recording of actual temperatures takes place at the Gungahlin Weather Centre in Ngunnawal. No correspondence can be entered into about the temperatures recorded by us.
Official daily temperatures are the 24 hour recordings from 12.01am to 11.59pm. These temperatures will be posted in the chart above as soon as possible after each day. Daily figures can also be accessed from our Data Achieve page.
On rare occasions (due to holidays etc) a forecast temperature range may not be posted. No prize will be able to be won during such occasions.
Decisions in relation to this competition are made solely at the discretion of the Gungahlin Weather Centre, and they are final.
